Last week, unfortunatly I was unable to attend class, but from the pictures I saw, it looked like everyone had a good time.
Tshaped did not meet last week, since we are waiting for the website to be finished. Joe is the one who has been dealing with the coder and with making sure that the coder has everything he wants. He has been doing a great job, since the coder asks a lot of questions and definatly needs some guidance. Good job joe!
Since last week we have been updating the front pages of all the major newspapers into the Hold the front pages facebook page. Joe did it all last week, and this week is my turn to wake up early (usually the page is updated before 9:30) and update them. Although it might sound like a simple job, it entailes reuniting all the cover (which includes a few print screens and cutting techniques) and than uploading them. People haven’t had a lot of interactions with them, but some “Likes” have been added. We are using facebook so that people are aware of hold the front pages, more than awaiting interaction from them, and I think we are achieving that.
Tshaped met this week on Sunday evening, for one hour. On the agenda was the state of our website, the traide fair and the ads.
We had to extend the coding deadline, which might be prejudicial if it is not done by the traide fair (which is the new dead line! – stressed about that). For the trade fair we planned a few surprises and decided matching colour coded outfits to look more professional. We will also hand out business cards and hopefully generate awareness for out business. In regards to the ads, the first one will be slightly changed to suit with the comments we had on class, and will include a screen shot of out website.
once we launch it will be crazy. Updating the website everything will include inserting the images in the code, which will be more time consuming and more complicated than we entitled. But, things will get done!
We are through to the National Varsity Pitch 2010 Semi-FInals. IUPI!!!!!! It is going to be very hard to pass on to the finals, but just reaching this benchmark is great! I am very proud of my myself and my team!
